PDS Optical Champions Louisville Veterans with Holiday Drive

Join PDS Optical in supporting local Veterans and their families through a holiday food and clothing drive Nov. 13.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – (Nov. 5, 2025) – Local eyewear company PDS Optical, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB), proudly announces a community initiative this Veterans Day. The company is hosting a holiday food and clothing drive to support local Veterans and their families. PDS Optical will donate all items collected to the Louisville VA Medical Center.

Throughout November, Army Veteran Sean Loosen, CEO of PDS Optical, will appear on local news to discuss the holiday food and clothing drive, the company’s economic impact on the Louisville community, and offer a behind-the-scenes tour of the PDS Optical lab, showcasing their unwavering dedication to providing high-quality eyewear to Veterans with pride, dignity, and service.

PDS Optical invites the Louisville community to donate nonperishable food items and essential clothing to support local veterans and their families during the holiday season.

One in nine Veterans struggles with food insecurity, and these donations offer a lifeline of support, providing essential food and clothing to those who have bravely served our nation. By contributing, the community can show profound gratitude and ensure no Veteran is left behind during the holiday season. This drive also underscores PDS Optical’s ongoing mission to give back to those who have sacrificed so much.

This holiday drive, coupled with our ongoing commitment to serving Veterans, is how we strive to support military-connected families,” said Army Veteran Sean Loosen, CEO of PDS Optical. “We invite everyone in the local community to support our drive on November 13th and tune in to your local news station to learn more about how PDS Optical delivers pride, dignity, and service not just on Veterans’ Day, but every day.

PDS Optical, one of America’s largest privately owned optical labs, employs nearly 220 Louisvillians. The company has shipped more than 1.5 million frames year to date, investing in Louisville and making it an eyewear manufacturing hub in Kentucky.
